With the Snowmageddon over on Wednesday, half the streets in DC were still not plowed. Walking around town on Friday, I saw 3 city buses stuck in the snow, one was just burning rubber trying to get unstuck, and two others turned to sharply and got stuck on a snow bank. Why are people here so dumb? Later that night, two boys from California who have never previously lived in the snow got two cars out of a rut, one being a JEEP!! How are we more prepared for the snow than Washingtonians?

Not much has happened in a productive sense for the majority of the time left void between blogs. We have had like 4 snow storms, coined the Snowpacolypse by Obummer, so the city has shut down, including public transportation. Anticipating this, I stayed with Kayvan in DC, so at least I could see things/have fun/party. But on Monday, I ran out of clean clothes, and the bus finally reopened its routes, so I went back to MD, and then Snowzilla proceeded to continue to take a dump on us, so now I am stuck in my apt. getting cabin fever, and going to the gym.

I did start working at the Peace Corps, a good 3 days of it. The people are really nice (working with all women) , very helpful, and excited to have another helping hand. Everything I work with is confidential, so I cant say much, but it is a lot of fun/interesting/informing working there. I feel like a badass with my security badge, dressing up in a tie, and working with confidential files. But this has been short lived, like I mentioned earlier, since the Federal Gov't has been closed for 5 work days now. Here is a picture I took on the way to work. It snowed that night, but was mostly melted by 2pm.

Being stuck in DC was great. Kayvan and I participated in a huge snowball fight at Dupont Circle, which actually made national news! We also went sledding down staircases, make snow angels, and consume beverages that made us warm.

Here is a video I made to update my fraternity brothers. It sums up everything that has happened since I last blogged.

If anybody is down to come visit, you should come April 6th when the Warriors will be in town to embarrass the Wizards.
